Terms of Service

Seivac is a focus companion: it watches for drift during the sessions you start and brings you back in your own voice. It is operated by Arturo López, an individual based in Colombia, and is in an early testing phase. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use Seivac.

1. A product being tested

Seivac is free while it is being tested. Features may change, break or be removed, and data may occasionally need to be reset — you will be told before anything you created is removed. Your feedback is the point of this phase; by sending it you allow it to be used to improve Seivac.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for your account and for keeping its sign-in secure; tell us at once if you think someone else used it.

3. Your camera, your voice, your calendar

Use Seivac to watch your own focus. Do not use it to monitor anyone else, and do not point it at people who have not agreed to be seen.
Record only your own voice. Seivac speaks in the voice you give it; giving it someone else’s voice, or using it to imitate a person, is not allowed.
What Seivac collects and where it goes is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not break the law with Seivac, try to access other people’s data or accounts, attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it. Accounts that do may be suspended or closed.

5. Your content

What you create — your goals, sessions, recordings and phrases — stays yours. You give Seivac only the permission it needs to store and process it to run the service for you. The Seivac software, name and design belong to its operator.

6. No guarantees

Seivac is a tool to help you notice, not a medical or professional service, and it will sometimes be wrong. It is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, its operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or time, arising from using it.

7. Ending

You can stop using Seivac at any time and ask for your account and data to be deleted. Seivac may end the testing phase or close accounts, with notice where possible.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, without prejudice to any consumer protection that the law of the country where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.

9. Changes and contact
